About us
Nevada Lightning Herzberg 18u will continue in the coaching style and spirit of Robert Herzberg. Eric, Craig and Jesse will take the helm. All three of these coaches are dedicated to the success and growth of the girls. Our team is player centric, We will focus on the individual success and growth of our players with a secondary emphasis on team success. Our coaches and players are dedicated to creating a positive team culture by supporting our teammates while pushing them to be better.
This team will be comprised of girls that are currently playing High School.
Lightning Indoor Training Facility
The Nevada Lightning Fastpitch Softball organization has access to an indoor facility during the fall and winter seasons. The complex has 8,700 square feet of indoor space where our players can take batting practice, field ground balls, field fly balls and practice pitching.
The indoor facility contains seven batting cages, three pitching lanes, and a 60′ by 60′ infield area. The academy also has thirty foot high ceilings so teams can practice taking fly balls along with ground balls when they are on the infield.
Having a state-of-the-art indoor training facility is a huge tool that will allow our players to work year-round on their game. This is just another reason to be a part of the Nevada Lightning Organization!
